Patchouli Organic Oil by Divine Essence
Patchouli is an aromatic herb native to Indonesia and Malaysia that is commonly used in perfumery. The essential oil is produced by distilling the leaves, which must be aged in barrels for months to lose their bitterness. Considered an expensive, high-end raw material, patchouli is used in men’s and women’s fragrances as a bottom note. Its powerful, woody and earthy fragrance can be found in woody, oriental perfumes. Patchouly essential oil is used in aromatherapy for the symptomatic relief of acne, boils and minor skin irritations as well as to help calm nerves.
